Petting Farm at Preston Trail Farms

Preston Trail Farms’ petting farm is open year-round and is great for all ages. We call it a petting farm because we feature real farm animals—not zoo animals. Located just north of Dallas near Prosper, visitors can see more than 50 goats, cows, and longhorn cattle in their permanent home on our property.

Admission & Feed:

• During Pumpkin Farm season:

  • Paid admission is required.

  • Every ticket includes one cup of animal feed.

• All other times of the year:

  • Admission is free.

  • Animal feed is available for purchase in the store.

For many Dallas-area families—and visitors from across Texas—our petting farm is an enjoyable, hands-on way to experience real farm animals up close all year long.
